Step 1: Slide the bearing onto a clean, burr-free shaft. Fasten housing base bolts loosely to allow for natural self-alignment.

Step 3 (Final): Tighten the two set screws on the inner ring alternately.
Critical Warning: Tightening the set screws *before* securing the housing base induces axial pre-load, which can cause the bearing to overheat and seize prematurely.
Never use a steel hammer directly on the inner ring, outer ring, or seal shield. Impact creates micro-cracks in the hardened 100Cr6 steel, deforms the shield, and can fracture the housing base. Always use a soft-face mallet or a sleeve tool.
- Shaft Tolerance: Recommended shaft tolerance for 35mm is h7 or js7. Surface unevenness of the mounting foundation should not exceed 0.1mm to avoid stressing the housing feet.
- Lubrication Management: The unit comes factory-lubricated. During periodic maintenance, inject only a small amount (1-2 pumps) of fresh grease. Over-greasing can push out the seal and cause temperature spikes.
